Ball Wakulla Springs State Park near Tallahassee
features one of the world's deepest and largest freshwater springs. Visitors
can enjoy river-boat tours or peek underwater in one of the glass-bottom tour
boats to marvel at the marine life when the water is clear. Numerous fresh-water
beaches can be found in this area, such as Alligator
Point Beach and Carrabelle
Beach, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy activities like boating,
fishing, camping and canoeing. Tallahassee is home to Florida
State University, which houses a large collection of art work in their fine
arts museum and hosts various college sport games and tournaments throughout
the year.
